         Barnardo's is the UK’s largest children’s charity, working in every community across the country. Despite strong name recognition, there was limited awareness of the full scope of their work, and we needed to engage a more diverse audience that reflects modern Britain. To reassert Barnardo’s relevance, we threw out the traditional approach to children’s charity advertising—ditching sad eyes and sorrowful music for something far more powerful. The main 60-second TV ad was backed by two longer online films, featuring music from Joy Division, Lorde, and Bobby Blue Bland.
